The Baja California Sur real estate market showed renewed momentum during the third quarter of 2026, recording $452.1 million USD in total sales volume across 492 transactions. According to data from all agencies participating in the Baja California Sur MLS, this represents a 20.4% increase compared to the same quarter in 2025, reflecting a notable improvement in quarterly market activity.
Residential properties continued to drive the market, with 160 houses sold for $267.3 million USD, followed by 162 condominiums totaling $99 million USD and 123 land lots generating $72.9 million USD.
San José del Cabo led the region in sales volume with $194.1 million USD, followed by Cabo San Lucas with $169.6 million USD. Meanwhile, La Paz, Todos Santos & the Pacific Area, and the East Cape contributed to the region's overall real estate activity.
Despite the strong third-quarter performance, total accumulated sales from January through September 2026 reached $1.136 billion USD, approximately 3.9% below the same period in 2025. These results highlight a significant quarterly rebound, even as year-to-date sales remain slightly behind last year's figures.
